Our Story
Established in 2009, LVP Renewables Ltd. is part of a family legacy stretching back to 1974. Leisure Vehicles and Products was established by Jeffrey White.
Originally set up to manufacture trailer tents, Jeff quickly found his feet in the field of conveyor automation in the late 1970s. Working in the manufacturing and robotics business, the directors were aware of a declining market and in the late 1990s and early 2000s decided to diversify once again.
Renewable energy was a big growth area. After a visit to an exhibition in Lyon, France, the Energie thermodynamic product was discovered.
Obtaining the rights to the thermodynamic solar panel was the best decision I made in 35 years of business.
Jeff installed a system in his own home to test the product. Around that time, Richard was made redundant from his own job. Richard saw the efficiency and quality of the product and asked Jeff for an opportunity to sell it.
Since that first trial installation, the company has now installed over 5,000 units. The team consists of 14 employees, a nationwide distributor network, and an affiliation with some of Ireland's top merchants.
LVP is now owned and managed by Jeffrey's two sons, Jonathan and Richard.
Recognition
In recent years, the company has expanded its product range into Commercial PV solar solutions. The company has been a finalist in The Green Energy Awards and has been featured on TV programmes such as About the House, Ireland AM, and the Today Show.
